Cunard Introduces 195 New Voyages Across 115 Global Destinations

Cunard’s Exciting 2027-2028 Voyage Offer: A New Era of Exploration

Cunard, the historic British cruise line renowned for its elegance and luxury at sea, has unveiled an impressive schedule featuring 195 voyages across its fleet from April 2027 to January 2028. This comprehensive offering will take adventurers to 115 destinations in 32 countries, providing opportunities for travelers to explore both iconic and lesser-known locales. With 93 UNESCO World Heritage sites on the itinerary, alongside 18 overnight port calls and 33 late-evening departures, Cunard’s latest program promises an expansive journey filled with unforgettable experiences.

New Destinations on the Horizon

Among the standout features of the new itinerary are four maiden port calls for Cunard’s latest ship, the Queen Anne. The ship will navigate to picturesque spots such as Sorrento, Italy, and La Rochelle, France, adding a fresh touch to the traditional cruise experience. Furthermore, the Queen Mary 2 will make history by visiting Charlottetown, Canada for the first time, while the Queen Victoria is set to dock in Riga, Latvia, and Queen Elizabeth will glide into Trieste, Italy and Calvi, France for their own inaugural calls.

A Statement from Cunard Leadership

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, expressed her enthusiasm about the new program, emphasizing that it aims to provide guests with "more choice and more unforgettable voyages." She remarked, "Whether it’s Queen Anne visiting new destinations, Queen Elizabeth returning to favorite ports in the Med, or Queen Mary 2 sailing iconic routes with her usual style, there’s something to suit every kind of traveler." This sentiment underscores Cunard’s commitment to offering exceptional journeys and enriching experiences on board.

Queen Elizabeth: A Return to the Mediterranean

The Queen Elizabeth is scheduled to return to Europe in 2027, featuring Mediterranean voyages that span from May to October. Over this period, the ship will visit 22 ports it hasn’t called at in 15 years, highlighting the allure of revisiting time-honored destinations. The new sailings, which range from seven to 28 nights, will take passengers through enchanting ancient cities, including the culinary delights of Palermo, Sicily, and the cultural treasures of Istanbul.

Iconic Transatlantic Crossings with Queen Mary 2

Following an extensive refit in early 2027, the Queen Mary 2 promises to continue offering its iconic transatlantic crossings, cherished for their luxury and style. The ship will embark on "immersive itineraries" that will include destinations like Norway, Canada, and New England, as well as the Caribbean, allowing guests to bask in the sun during the holiday season. Notably, the Queen Mary 2 will be in Boston on Independence Day, providing a unique way to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Discovering New Horizons with Queen Anne

As the newest addition to Cunard’s prestigious fleet, the Queen Anne will offer diverse round-trip voyages from Southampton. Whether it’s a Mediterranean getaway or an exhilarating Nordic adventure in pursuit of the Northern Lights, passengers can look forward to extended stays in vibrant cities like Barcelona and Copenhagen. One of the highlights will include a late-evening call in Madeira on New Year’s Eve, allowing guests to witness the island’s spectacular fireworks display.

Exploring with Queen Victoria

The Queen Victoria will also return to the UK to facilitate round-trip sailings from Southampton, focusing on discovery itineraries that include Scandinavia, Iceland, and the bustling Mediterranean. The ship is set to visit Grundarfjordur, Iceland, marking the first time a Cunard vessel has called at this location since 2009, making it a must-see destination on the cruise calendar.

Booking Information and Availability

For those eager to embark on these remarkable voyages, bookings will open for Cunard World Club members on June 11, 2025, at 2 PM, with the general public able to secure their spots starting June 12, 2025, at the same time. This schedule promises to entice both seasoned travelers and first-time cruisers, enhancing Cunard’s legacy of providing unforgettable oceanic journeys.

With its commitment to luxury, exploration, and unprecedented experiences, Cunard’s upcoming itineraries for 2027-2028 are set to capture the hearts of travelers around the world. Each ship and route offers a unique perspective, showcasing the beauty and diversity of our global landscape.
